In the heart of Rioja, beneath the earth and stone, lies the story of a winery that has stood the test of time . Vergara Verde is not just any given winery, it is a family project full of life, legacy and emotion.

Our story begins in the 15th century , when the cellar that now lives again was excavated to safeguard wine with wisdom and patience . For generations , this winery has belonged to our family , witnessing harvest times , celebrations , and craftsmanship .

But like many great stories, ours also took a break. For years, the cellar remained silent , its walls holding the memory of everything we had experienced . Until a dream reawakened : the desire of our grandfather Arsenio Verde , one of the last to make wine at the winery , was to recover that sacred space for wine .

Today that dream is a reality, We have lovingly renovated the winery , respecting its traditional essence while adding contemporary details that elevate the experience . The original stone blends with fine wood , steel , and soft lighting , allowing the wine to mature in silence , more than 15 meters underground , in perfect conditions of humidity and temperature .
